🎵Where everybody knows your name… and they’re always glad you came.🎶 I stayed at Kaiyu last year while on the Henro 88. During Mitsu’s orientation, he was giving off the most extraordinary vibe of welcome, inclusion and joy and the facilities seemed so relaxing with the gorgeous, spacious rooms and Onsen, that I added on an additional two days. Be sure to opt for the family-style dinner, expertly prepared by Tae and offering a banquet of an impossible number of dishes. Fun and thought-provoking conversation will occur in both English and Japanese. This is a wonderful place to stay for the solo pilgrim who might have had a few too many days alone. You will be welcomed into this family by Mitsu-san, Tae-san, Marie-san and Kazu-san. And they ARE glad you came and WILL remember your name.
