General Description:
This shelter is about 8.9 km from Tairyuji (T21) and about 1.5 km beyond the Ōne Pass. Adjacent to Tsujido Daian in a bamboo grove, it is one of the tallest huts at a height of about 8.5m.
The design concept is a combination of a “Prayer Tower” and a local specialty, Daikon radish. The building is tall but has only a single floor level.
There is another Henro hut (refer to Hut 3 Asebi) just before Ōne Pass.

This is a tall, unmistakable octagonal structure which you come on as you begin to leave the forest. The hut is not quite in the rural area that opens up into farm land. It would be isolated, quiet and dark at night.
Because of its location is is shaded and would be protected from the wind, but it is quite open and may be damp in rainy weather.
The hut has bench seating around seven walls and a small table around the central support column. The eighth wall is open as a doorway. Despite its height, it is not a large hut in area.

Beautiful to look at, but not very useful -- no water, no toilet, no vending machines nearby. Not very comfortable either.
