General Description: The Henro Michi from Kokubunji (T29) to Zenrakuji (T30) splits into two separate branches near where it crosses the Kokubu River. This hut is on the southern route, but could be reached from the northern route by diverting before temple 30 at the Eneos service station on Highway 384 and walking about 400m. It is about five kilometres past Kokubunji (T29) and two kilometres short of Zenrakuji (T30).
There is no water or toilet in the hut, but the 88 Henro Hut Association notes you can obtain access at the nearby “Hidaka Giken” factory managed by Mr. Ishikawa.
3/5/2019 Comments: Due to its narrow construction and open walls, this hut wouldn’t provide much protection against sun, wind and rain when the weather is poor. It is built up against a retaining wall, so there is protection from a northerly wind (and rain). Due to the concrete walls behind, any warmth from the sun would radiate into the hut during the day. Nice in cool weather, but not so desirable in summer. It has long seating and will accommodate a number of Henro but the space gets a bit “squeezy” at the end of the benches where they are in the tight corners of the acute angled walls. Although the hut is built right on a Y junction of roads, they are not big roads, so the location would be fairly quiet outside of normal working hours.

Interesting to look at but right next to the road with a concrete wall behind, so it's especially noisy.
