Kadoya is a traditional Japanese inn that opened in 1902, and has since been a staple to the area and pilgrims for over 120 years. Located right across Temple 1 (Ryozenji), it frequently receives guests who are starting the pilgrimage and guests who have completed their pilgrimage in full-circle. Many pilgims even make sure they stay here during both events as they feel a special sense of "beginning of the end" for starting and ending at the same lodging.
