I stayed here in my tent overnight. A local invited me to stay there. The shelters are especially designed to become a henro sleeping area for tent. You can lift the table and chairs into the structure and lock them. Then put your tent. Locals very nice and polite. Vending machines next to you. And family mart open 24/7 across the road for meals. Next to a road but not too busy. Good if you’re camping :) @heykiera_
Don’s sleep score: 1
Many pilgrims and other travelers have stayed here, in cars and tents, though it is technically not allowed. It is VERY NOISY at night. There are toilets and water, shops for food (closing at 5:00 or 6:00 p.m.), and a convenience store across the street. There was weak wifi when I was there. The only electrical outlets were for the vending machines. Do not unplug them!
HOWEVER, it is a wonderful place to rest, with a warm footbath!
