The michi no eki has the usual shops and restaurants, vending machines, toilet, etc. I camped on the beach across the road, along with several Japanese pilgrims. It's was a BEAUTIFUL spot and we had a GORGEOUS sunset. But we hardly slept at all because it was Saturday night and the parking lot across the street from us was the gathering place for a few dozen bozozoku (motorcycle enthusiasts) who came and went, as loudly as possible, until about 3 a.m.
